Elon Musk is a busy boy. As CEO of Spacex, Tesla, Neuralink and Twitter, Elon spreads himself very thin, bouncing between a number of companies that are undergoing transformative periods of change. Spacex is constantly launching (and occasionally crashing) bigger and bigger rockets, while Tesla tries to teach cars how to drive without killing people, and Neuralink on the other hand is busy actively killing animals in brain-computer interfacing experiments, with 1,500 creatures ‘lost to the lab’ since 2018. Twitter is a very public and recent shitshow for the billionaire, who has laid off over 80% of the entire company workforce since assuming control over six months ago, and defaulted on rent to several corporate landlords.

Now Elon’s decided to hand over the rains at twitter, hopefully to somebody with a little more focus.

Announcing the shake up on twitter (duh), Elon’s new CEO is to start at the company around the beginning of July, leaving Musk to fill the roles of executive chair and CTO.

Musk’s replacement, Linda Yaccarino

Musk superfans and twitter users were quick to call out Elon for an ideological shift, after sleuthing around to identify his new CEO as one Linda Yaccarino, who is apparently unfit for the role owing to her being “Pro- mask, pro-vaxx, and a participant in The World Economic Forum”. Who’d have guessed it? The CEO of Twitter being a member of the “global elite”. Shocker.
